Tele-EEG Readings

Location and time independent EEG decoding in acute care settings
When the pathophysiology of a patient with impaired consciousness cannot be diagnosed from imaging or blood findings, EEG is of great significance. In particular, electroencephalography (EEG) is indispensable in distinguishing nonconvulsive status epilepticus with seizures (NCSE). However, reading the measured EEG requires an extremely high level of expertise, and even in Japan, there are only a limited number of physicians who can read the EEG, and in many cases, EEG readers are not available in the acute care setting.
Overview

By displaying EEG data output from the electroencephalograph on a smartphone or PC, EEG reading can be performed regardless of location or time, contributing to early treatment of NCSE in patients with disorders of consciousness, head trauma, stroke, etc. and reducing the risk of serious illness or death.
EEG Headset × Join

The EEG headset transmits the acquired EEG data to Join [Join EEG] without interrupting the EEG measurement. Images captured by the EEG headset's on-board camera are also sent together with the EEG data, allowing for a smooth understanding of the patient's condition, which is essential for EEG interpretation, and for feedback to the field through Join's communication function.
What we can achieve
- 01
EEG Headset Linkage
EEG data acquired with the AE-120A Telemetry EEG Headset, which can be worn by nurses, can be displayed on a smartphone or PC.
- 02
Rapid EEG decoding for acute patients
Supports medical care for acute patients by providing quick and smooth EEG decipherment with an EEG deciphering physician and feedback to the field.
- 03
Risk reduction through early treatment
Provides early treatment for NCSE in patients with impaired consciousness, head trauma, or stroke, helping to reduce the risk of serious illness or death.
