Allm Inc. (Headquarters in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takaaki Otani), a subsidiary of DeNA Co., Ltd., has launched telemedicine network projects in both the states of Maranhão and Acre in Brazil.
Brazil, with a population of about 200 million, ranks 7th in the world and is one of the countries being closely watched globally as part of the Global South. However, its leading causes of death are cardiovascular diseases (such as stroke and heart disease). Allm Inc. has an overseas subsidiary based in São Paulo, Brazil, and is solving the healthcare challenges faced by various states in Brazil through medical ICT.
This time, Allm will introduce the medical communication app "Join" to medical institutions, specialists, emergency centers, ambulances, and command centers in the states of Maranhão and Acre. The goal is to build a healthcare collaboration network.
By creating a system that enables quick diagnostic support from specialists, we aim to reduce the disability and mortality rates of patients suffering from strokes and heart attacks. Previously, we had been operating a stroke and heart disease medical collaboration network in the state of Alagoas, and we are now expanding this to the states of Acre and Maranhão.
This project aims to reduce the disability and mortality rates of patients suffering from stroke and myocardial infarction by establishing a system that enables rapid diagnostic support from specialists.
Allm Inc. is committed to providing medical ICT solutions and promoting medical digital transformation (DX) with the aim of ensuring equitable healthcare for all.
