DeNA Subsidiary Allm Commits Medical Equipment Donation to Ukrainian Pediatric Hospital ~ Addressing Critical Needs at War-Torn Healthcare Facility ~
Allm Inc.(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Teppei Sakano; hereinafter referred to as "Allm"), a subsidiary of DeNA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shingo Okamura; hereinafter referred to as "DeNA"), extends its heartfelt condolences to all the victims of the conflict in Ukraine. As part of its humanitarian efforts, Allm has decided to donate medical equipment.
Allm will provide medical equipment, including portable ultrasound devices, ventilators, 12-lead electrocardiograms, vital sign monitors, and EEG sensors, free of charge to the Kyiv-based Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital, which has suffered severe damage.
Since January 2024, Allm has been offering educational support in advanced medical care and telemedicine technologies in the areas of emergency treatment and intensive care to a total of 16 Ukrainian medical personnel* in collaboration with national medical centers and university hospitals. Given the urgent need for emergency support, Allm has gathered information from local healthcare providers on the currently lacking medical equipment at Ohmatdyt Hospital and has selected the aforementioned medical devices to donate.
*This includes ten male doctors and six female doctors. The training is conducted in three sessions, each lasting about two months.
Allm is expediting the necessary preparations to donate the equipment to Ohmatdyt Hospital.
Allm will continue to monitor the situation in Ukraine closely, and sincerely hope for an early end to the hostilities so that the people of Ukraine can swiftly regain their peaceful, safe, and healthy daily lives.
